Programme overview
Short film, more than any other medium, has a long and rich history of producing experimental work. The first short films, after all, were experiments, the first stepping stones in the development of cinema as an artform. Ever since, artists have continued to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, using techniques both classical and cutting-edge.
Our World-Building programme, specially curated by gallery curators and artists, presents 11 incredible stories from around the world, using analogue film, stop-motion animation, CGI animation and much more to create new worlds that are bound only by their creators’ imaginations.
